HAL WEISSMAN AWARD

The late Hal Weissman was a highly respected public relations professional and founding Board member of the Philadelphia Music Alliance (then the Philadelphia Music Foundation). Hal nurtured the organization in its infancy through a program of local , regional and national publicity and brought it widespread recognition. In honor of his memory, the Hal Weissman Award is presented to a Philadelphian who, just as Hal did, provides unselfish and faithful service toward the betterment of the city's cultural community.
